I don’t know about you, but I love seeing all the great fabrics out there and what people are buying, so this weekend I’m joining in with Sunday Stash over at Molli Sparkles.
I’ve been eyeing up the new Dashwood range since it came out, so I’m glad to have these beauties join my stash:
Wildwood collection
1/2 meter of Foxes
1 FQ of Aubergine
1/2 meter of Teal Forest
I have no plans for them yet but that’s not the point of buying fabric is it?? 😉
I’ve also got some Wee wander coming next week so I’m excited for that and plan to turn it in to a quilt for my daughter.
Linking up with Molli Sparkles for Sunday Stash – check out the sparkly button in my bar! 🙂
Lovely foxy and aubergine fabrics. I am pleased others buy first and decide what to make later- I thought I was the odd one out. I agree some fabrics are too pretty to cut into. I have started saving a 7×7 inch square of my favorites with the selvage showing the designer, a bit as a library collection and I am putting them in a nice box. Why not collect fabric? It is as worthy as any other collecatble.

That’s so good that you do that, I’ve been saying I should do that for years! Still haven’t got round to doing it. And yes, fabric is a beautiful thing to collect! You wouldn’t expect a stamp collector to use his stamps to post letters, why should we use our fabric for sewing! 😉

I almost never have a plan in mind for fabric. I normally see the fabric and come up with the plan, rather than the other way round!

It’s a lovely line, it’s by Dashwood studio which are UK based and I think they are newish. I’m sure I’ll find something for those foxes, in the meantime they are in good company with the rest of my stash!!
